Consolidation: German manufacturing

GESA one of the leading international suppliers of POS-material, will expand its business activities but at the same time reduce its Carbon Footprint! The company, using leading technologies in development and production, is keeping true to its goals of reducing its Carbon Footprint in all areas of business. The company will build its beauty Wall Units, GTS, Open Sells and Displays in a large new facility on site at the main design & production plant in Dreieich – Offenthal, Germany. GESA customers value the precision and quality and innovation of German engineering and the expert design that are a part of every GESA display. The move will continue to build on that strength.

ECO – friendly POS-material

The consolidation will mean less travel of raw materials and people. Every unit will be brought from concept through design process to build in one location. GESA has recently been praised for its CO₂ reduced Eco Displays for cosmetic giants L´Oréal as part of their Global Sustainable initiative ECO2.

Green building / Sustainable construction

Plans are well underway for the new facility, which will be built at the head office site. A new super sustainable construction is planned, featuring the latest conservationist architectural developments, including utilizing residual heat from the production process and utilizing rainwater and solar / photovoltaic resources. The new building will be in fully operational by the middle of 2012.
