GESA is proud to support the BLACK KNIGHTS Electro – Wheelchair, Hockey Team

GESA promotes ´Solidarity Sourcing´ concept of social integration & jobs for the disadvantaged.

By helping...

  • give people the chance to compete and build social confidence
  • them to integrate better into society
  • build a community spirit of inclusiveness

Supporting the global cause of Solidarity Sourcing and in keeping with the spirit of the paralympics promoting ´The Super Humans´, GESA has joined in a community scheme (Dreieicher Weihnachtskalender), which promotes very special projects to help the disadvantaged.

GESA is pleased to support the Black Knights electro wheelchair Hockey team, Dreieich. The team competes in the Bundesliga (German national league) and internationally.
Training and competing gives the team members additional self-confidence and promotes an environment of healthy competition.

This is followed through at GESA head office where the workplace has special wide aisles permitting easy access for wheelchairs. A full size roll in Lift allows wheelchairs to access different floors of the assembly site.
GESA continues its support of the disadvantaged by outsourcing some of its manual assembly work to specialised work centres such as the BWMK: Behinderten-Werk Main-Kinzig 63571 Gelnhausen
Here handicapped people are professionally trained in work practices, which enable them to take on commercially viable work projects.

These are just two examples of how GESA supports social inclusiveness and are part of its overall corporate governance policy – ´we care programme´ which extends to GESAs international branches in China and France.
